Now you don't have to feel that Korea is a foreign country anymore. You can learn to make Korean friends and participate in Korean society the moment you start learning the Korean language.

My name is Kim Jin-Ae, the principle of Seoul Korean Language Academy.

I have taught the Korean language at Yonsei University Korean language school for 6 years beginning in 1986, and in 1991 I established a private korean language institute with my colleagues from Yonsei university Korean language school.

I've had over 15 years of experience teaching people from all over the world including diplomats, foreign business people, soldiers and missionaries.

Due to the changing demands of the international learner, I recently established a new Korean language school in the heart of Korea's most dynamic business area located in the Kangnam section of Seoul.

We have created a more systematic and effective program by using the experience and techniques learned over the past 15 years.

Seoul Korean Language Academy will be where you start your Korean language study.

And we will be your guide through your learning process.

 

 


Regular

class

    ▶ Classes begin the first business day of every month.
       (20 days a month)

    ▶ level 1 takes between 2-3 months.

Class

times

    ▶ morning 10:00-11:50 (mon~fri, 40 hours 20 days a month)

    ▶ afternoon 13:00-14:50
       (mon, wed, fri / tue, thu, fri, 20 hours 10 days a month , friday - due volta)

    ▶ evening 19:00-20:50 (mon,wed, fri / 3days a week)

    ▶ Saturday only classes 10:00-12:50/14:00-16:50 (3 hours a day)

Teaching

   You will study speaking, listening, reading and writing based on conversation.

   You will study grammar(level 1 to level 6) systematically and learn vocabulary

   and conversations from everyday life, so you will become familiar with life in

   Korea as fast as possible. You can practice Korean through text books and

   various teaching materials interestingly.

Level 1


  You learn Korean letters, pronunciation, greetings, basic

  vocabulary and simple short sentences through basic everyday

  conversation. (completion time 2 months)

Level 2


  You will talk about travel, seasons etc.

  Through longer sentences by learning auxiliary words, tenses

  and connecting phrases. (completion time 2 months)

Level 3


  You will speak in correct and natural conversation about various

  situations in Korean society by learning grammatical causativeness,

  passivity, indirect narration and basic knowledge about Korea.

Level 4


  You will express yourself like a Korean by learning more familiar

  language(such as that used among friends), echoic or imitative

  vocabulary. And you will be able to have detailed conversations

  with your Korean friends.

Level 5


  You will understand newspapers, radio and TV programs etc.

  And learn more about Korean culture and customs.

  You will become more familiar with characteristic and peculiar

  expression of the Korean language.

Level 6


  You will do special translation and interpretation, understand

  advanced literature. You will write specialized materials using

  adnanced vocabulary.

    ◆ During the beginning 2 days of the term, the schedule or the level may be changed

        with the permission of the teacher.

    ◆ If the number of students taking a regular course is 3 or less, that course may be canceled.
