Introduction to the organization
Starting from Kyungsung School of Odontology in 1922, the first education institute of odontology in Korea,
Seoul National University Dental Hospital, which had led the Korean odontology society
through the diversification of treatment and research, became an independent corporation of
National Central Dental Hospital in September 2004. Backed by superb medical teams,
it treats 300,000 patients a year by establishing the systematic infrastructures including specialized medical parts,
special clinics, operation rooms and hospitalization facilities, and clinical dental research center.
